Why We're Launching Universal Vision: Real User Demand

After the launch of HakkoAI 1.0, we’ve been overwhelmed with reviews and feedback. Gamers worldwide are impressed by its multimodal capabilities—now, AI can truly see and understand in-game screens. Thank you all for helping us make HakkoAI even better.

Among the feedback, the most frequent requests have been: "support more games/apps," "let me share my screen with the AI," and "allow me to choose which game or app to share."

While Lynksoul VLM v1.0 is a general-purpose vision model capable of supporting all games and apps, we initially restricted screen-sharing capabilities to prevent unlimited transfer of user screenshots to the AI—addressing potential privacy concerns. After careful consideration and a month of dedicated development, we’re proud to introduce the Universal Vision feature, allowing users to use HakkoAI with up to 5,000 supported games.

The previously supported game list will now become our Featured Games list. These featured titles are carefully selected based on three key criteria:

Guaranteed AI QA Accuracy Each featured game undergoes testing with a specialized game QA evaluation dataset. We ensure our AI can answer game-related questions with at least 95% accuracy.
Thorough Testing of AI In-Game Performance Our editorial team plays each featured game with the AI companion, asking random questions to evaluate visual recognition accuracy and overall game understanding.
Proactive Tips Integrated into Game Walkthroughs We’ve enriched each featured game with proactive tips and conversations—every title includes at least 100 proactive interactions to keep users engaged and supported throughout their gameplay.

As a result, HakkoAI’s supported games are now divided into two categories:

Supported (Unfeatured) Games HakkoAI will provide visual recognition based on the full capability of our VLM, answering user questions through reasoning and search—even as we continue to optimize performance.
Featured Games These games have passed rigorous testing to ensure the AI accurately interprets the screen, thoroughly understands gameplay, engages in proactive conversation, and answers all game-related questions with high precision.
