HakkoAI Dec 2025 Update: Vision, Gemini 3, Chat & More

Since our launch in September 2025, we have been thrilled to see the community grow and receive a wealth of feedback.

HakkoAI was built for you, and it will continue to evolve based on your voice.

Driven by your input, we have recently introduced several major improvements in December 2025:

Universal Vision – allowing our AI to see more games and applications.
Proactive Chats – enabling the AI to initiate conversations in-game without prompting.
Model Select – giving users the ability to choose from more AI models.
HakkoBot – a non-roleplaying assistant, released alongside major updates to our Android and iOS apps.

We are also excited to share that following the December 2025 launch of Gemini 3 Flash — the new state-of-the-art in multimodal capabilities — we have promptly integrated it into our Model Select section.

Universal Vision : All Games Supported

Frustrated that HakkoAI doesn't support your current game? Go beyond our supported list. HakkoAI's Universal Vision feature lets you select any game as your visual source.

When we first launched, HakkoAI’s vision was limited to a selection of featured games. But thanks to feedback from our community, we’ve expanded support to all PC processes. Now, simply turn on Screen Sharing—already enabled by default based on popular game lists—and let your AI companion see whatever you’re playing or working on.

Hover on the widget and click Screen Sharing at anytime to manage HakkoAI's vision capabilities. And then you can engage in real time voice calls or text messeges based on visual infomations.

Proactive Chats : In-Game Unprompted Chats

The interaction between AI and humans has traditionally followed a simple pattern: user inputs, AI responds. Human conversation, however, is characterized by two key qualities: it is two-way, and it is not strictly turn-by-turn multiple inputs can naturally lead to multiple outputs.

We believe the future of AI interaction will move closer to this human-like dynamic. That’s why we are committed to enabling AI to proactively initiate conversations through multimodal input.

At launch, this proactive dialogue feature was only available in our Featured Games, with triggers based on predefined image recognition. After receiving extensive user feedback requesting more spontaneous interaction, we’ve enhanced the system: now the AI periodically analyzes the screen and decides autonomously whether to start a conversation.

Imagine AI initiating chats based on what’s happening on screen. This creates more surprise and a more authentic, human-like dialogue experience.

At the same time, we give you full control over how often the AI speaks up. If you find it too chatty, you can lower the frequency or turn it off entirely. If you prefer a more engaged companion, simply set it to high. We hope you enjoy your time with HakkoAI.

Model Select : Talk with Gemini3 in Game

Gemini 3 is one of the most amazing AI model updates in 2025, and we are excited to see a leap in multimodel understanding and reasoning with screen. So we integrated Gemini 3 as soon as it was released.

Gemini 3 Flash significantly outperforms Gemini 2.5 Pro across a range of benchmarks requiring enhanced reasoning and multimodal capabilities.

You can now select models other than Lynksoul models in the dialogue window. With more powerful models, we believe AI can do more for you base on multimodal understanding of the screen.

As Gemini 3 is only available for HakkoAI Plus members, we are giving all users free trials of HakkoAI plus. Just enter HakkoAI plus page to start your free trial of Gemini3-powered AI game companion.

Android/iOS App Updated

By bringing VLM to PC screens, you can now talk to AI anytime with full visual context. This month, we’ve expanded this experience to Android and iOS with significant enhancements to both the interface and capabilities.

The homepage now offers a more immersive layout, streamlined into two main sections: Chat and Explore. In Chat, you can interact with AI in three ways: type messages in the input box, tap Voice Mode for real-time calls, or use Share Screen & Call to let the AI see your screen during the conversation.

In response to valuable community feedback, we now analyze and address the top five reported issues every week to resolve the most pressing user concerns. Below are this month’s top five issues and the improvements we’ve implemented:
